Phormingochilus hati hati(Purple Earth Tiger) i2
Species highlight: Phorminingochilus hati hati
Old world arboreal tarantula also known as a Purple Earth Tiger. They are from Indonesia. They get a diagonal leg span of 5 to 7 inches. They can live around 15 years. They like a lot of ventilation and humidity, but don't like it damp, regular light misting can achieve the ambient humidity without over saturating the enclosure. As they are an old world species they are very fast and are an advanced species. They are also classified this way due to their medically significant venom. Though they tend to be more shy than defensive.

We are currently focusing our efforts on responsible breeding projects. Captive breeding plays an important role in helping to preserve species numbers, reducing the need for wild collection and supporting long-term sustainability in the hobby.

If you have a mature male available and would like to collaborate, please feel free to reach out. I am always happy to check if I have a matching female for a potential pairing. Together, we can contribute to healthy captive populations and the continued appreciation of these incredible animals.

Please email [email protected] to inquire about available species.
If there are any species you are looking for, send us an email and I can direct you to where to find them.
